An Attitude of Gratitude

There are a multitude of things that a new generation is credited with “killing”. One thing that should be preserved is a simple thank you. Thanking clients with a gift for their business, suppliers for their work, and mentors/consultants is something that can easily fall by the wayside, but should not.

In the hustle and bustle, simply sending a note to thank someone for their time, assistance, or business causes the sender to stand out in the best way - and be remembered long term for their thought, time, and effort.

Saying “thank you” in 2018 can be as simple as sending an email. However, to convey your gratitude, why not go above and beyond (as the person you’re thanking did for you)? A handwritten note is a great gift idea and fits any budget. If it’s an option, a personalized corporate gift could also be a nice way to say thank you. In the words of expert corporate gifter John Ruhlin “focus on what you can do to make a lasting impression”.

When you cultivate an attitude of gratitude around your business, clients, partners, and mentors will notice - in the best way, and your business will benefit and grow from it.
