Spreading Culinary Cheer at WILD Summit

Team Danconias had an amazing day yesterday at the WILD Summit! Hosted by the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, 900 professionals joined to celebrate Women in Leadership Development. Our team enjoyed spreading culinary cheer by showcasing our tasty truffle brownies. It was fun explaining how a business gift can actually be a present with twice the impact! (Not only are Danconias Truffle Brownie gifts the perfect way to thank clients, they also provide job training at Bridge House!) Learn more about our Sweet Partnership with Bridge House.

We had so much fun mingling with the crowd and exploring opportunities on how to grow business through gratitude. We look forward to speaking more with the companies who visited our table.

If you were unable to attend, here are a few tips our Chief Gifting Officers would love to share about business gifting…

1. Humans are hardwired for reciprocity. If you send a gift to a client, they are often inclined to send a “thank you” email or note. This simple act can open channels of communication or continue the conversation.

2. For maximum impact, try sending an unexpected gift. While holiday business gifts are nice, it's a little more predictable. Developing a gifting gameplan "off season" can surprise and delight clients in a special way that allows your gift to stand out.

3. Whenever possible, send a unique gift with purpose. Current trends indicate that consumers care about companies creating positive social impact. Look for gift companies that actively engage social consciousness as an everyday practice.

We look forward to attending the WILD Summit again next year. Until then, happy gifting!
